Frequently asked questions

What is an authority-age requirement?
Many brokers will not onboard a carrier until FMCSA operating authority has been active for a set number of days. We copy that number only when a page stated it.
Does Unknown mean they accept new authority?
No. Unknown means we could not find the rule. A0 means we read a published list with no age line. Third-party “day 1” blogs are labeled unverified and stay off the new-authority slice.
Is every licensed broker here?
FMCSA already lists who is licensed. It publishes no setup gates. This overlay is that missing field — thousands of public RMIS/Wayback pages — not a coverage ratio against the census.
Are these numbers live?
