What is a broker setup requirement?

Are these requirements the same as FMCSA licensing?

No. FMCSA licensing says who may broker freight. Setup requirements say what that broker asked carriers for on its onboarding page. Confirm with the broker.

How do I find brokers that work with newer authority?

Use the ≤30 / ≤60 / ≤90 / ≤180 day filters on this page (or Search with the same maxAuthAgeDays param). That shows published numeric gates at or below that age — not a guarantee they will accept your packet. Also check Qualify by MC age and the ≤30-day overlay slice.

How do I use these gates with my MC age?

Look up your MC authority age, filter this list by a max days at or above your age, or use Qualify brokers by MC age. Missing age on a row is not the same as accepting brand-new authority.
