Inspection Levels
Full Inspection
Comprehensive examination of both driver and vehicle with under-vehicle inspection.
Walk-Around Driver/Vehicle
Driver credentials, HOS review, and walk-around (no under-vehicle).
Driver-Only
Driver credentials, hours of service, and seatbelt only. No vehicle inspection.
Special Inspection
One-time examination of a particular item or to verify corrections.
Vehicle-Only
Vehicle inspection without driver present, often at terminals.
Radioactive Materials
Enhanced NAS inspection for select radiological shipments.
