The vehicle was coasted into a nearby apartment complex and the vehicle lost automotive power. The contact activated the hazard lights and was towed by AAA to an independent mechanic. The mechanic discovered that the accelerator pedal was missing a bolt and that the accelerator pedal kit needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired.
