Owner Narrative

The contact owns a 2019 Ford F-250 equipped with Cooper Tires, Tire Line: Discoverer AT3, Tire Size: 295/60/R20, DOT Number: (N/A). The contact stated that while driving 60 MPH and hauling a trailer, the vehicle jolted into oncoming traffic and started wobbling. The contact regained control of the vehicle and eventually steered to the side of the road and parked the vehicle. The contact became aware of a flat spot on the tire, and the spare tire was placed on the driver’s side front. The contact continued driving, and the wobbling became controllable at speeds under 50 MPH. The vehicle was taken to the residence, where the contact observed that the driver's side front tire had tire separation in the middle of the tire. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The tire failure mileage was 37,000. The vehicle failure mileage was 52,000.
