ELECTRICAL SYSTEM
Owner Narrative
The vehicle is experiencing a serious door locking malfunction. Even after the car is locked, the doors repeatedly attempt to lock again every few seconds. During this time, the horn sounds and the lights flash continuously, as if the vehicle is trying to re-lock itself but failing. This behavior continues repeatedly. This issue raises serious safety concerns for the following reasons: â¢The vehicle may not be securely locking. â¢The repeated locking attempts may indicate a failure in the door lock actuator or body control system. â¢The malfunction could potentially cause the doors to unlock unexpectedly. â¢The constant horn and light activity drains the battery and creates public disturbance. The problem occurs intermittently but frequently enough to cause concern. There have been no recent modifications made to the vehicle. I am requesting that the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) investigate this issue to determine whether it is a widespread defect affecting other 2015 Nissan Rogue vehicles. Vehicle Details: â¢Make: Nissan â¢Model: Rogue â¢Year: 2015 â¢Mileage: 127,000 miles â¢VIN: [XXX] Thank you for your attention to this matter.
