Complaint Summary
VEHICLE SPEED CONTROL
Owner Narrative
With no prior warning or issues while driving on the freeway the rpmâs on my car just went in the redline and the car just lost power and I had to pull to the side of the road and that was that. Had to tow it home and it has not moved on its own since. Had it towed to dealer itâs a transmission failure. Total cost of repair $8500 and Iâm at 131000 miles so past any extensions even purchased the extended warranty to 100000 miles when I bought it new for $40000.
