Owner Narrative
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 FORD F-250. WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 75 MPH, THE VEHICLE VEERED TO THE LEFT AND CRASHED INTO A GUARDRAIL WITHOUT WARNING. THE VEHICLE CROSSED THE HIGHWAY INTO ONCOMING TRAFFIC AND CRASHED INTO ANOTHER GUARDRAIL. THE AIR BAGS DID NOT DEPLOY. A POLICE REPORT WAS FILED AND THERE WERE NO INJURIES. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO THE CONTACT'S RESIDENCE. THE CONTACT ATTEMPTED TO MOVE THE VEHICLE AND DISCOVERED THAT THE STEERING WHEEL TURNED AS DESIGNED; HOWEVER, THE WHEELS FAILED TO MOVE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 226,000.
