TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 GMC SIERRA 2500 HD. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 30 MPH, THE BRAKE PEDAL WAS DEPRESSED BUT FAILED TO ENGAGED. THE CONTACT HAD TO USE THE ELECTRIC BRAKE FROM THE HORSE TRAILER IN ORDER TO STOP THE VEHICLE. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER. THE TECHNICIAN DIAGNOSED THAT THE BRAKE LINES WERE RUSTED. AS A RESULT, THE BRAKE CALIPERS ALONG WITH BRAKE LINES NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 36,000.
