Owner Narrative
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2006 FORD E-350. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING 3 MPH, THE VEHICLE STALLED WITHOUT WARNING. THE VEHICLE WAS RESTARTED AND RESUMED OPERATION AS DESIGNED. THE VEHICLE WAS LATER TAKEN TO A DEALER FOR DIAGNOSIS AND THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED THAT THE OIL COOLING SYSTEM WAS THE CAUSE OF THE FAILURE. THE CONTACT ALSO STATED THAT THE PARKING BRAKE DID NOT HOLD WHEN ENGAGED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO A DEALER AND THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED THAT THE ENTIRE PARKING BRAKE UNIT WOULD NEED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED FOR EITHER FAILURE. THE FAILURE AND CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 140,000.
