Complaint Summary
ENGINE
Owner Narrative
Truck has had lifters replaced due to tick, sluggish performance and engine vibration. Truck was driven less then 500 miles and problem re-occurred. With research I have learned this is a widespread problem, and ram techs have reported complained there is no fix, and they are just reinstalling parts that will fail again. I feel the engine has had metal ran through it which in my opinion could cause this engine to seize up at. T tow a larch travel trailer with my family an and small pets in this vehicle.i live in the Desert where temperatures reach in the 120s. I canât have a vehicle that could stop running leave myself and my family in a situation where the truck stops running, to be either hit by another vehicle or on the road side broken down. Problem was documented at 17000 miles and still under the 3 year 36 warranty.
