Owner Narrative
There were 2 separate incidents that occurred. The first one we were backing out of our driveway and the car just stopped running. We were unable to start it again after a dozen attempts. We had the vehicle towed to a local shop and when they got in the car, it started right up. We drove it around for a few weeks before the 2nd incident happened. We were driving on the freeway this time and the car just stopped running. We were in the fast lane and it was extremely dangerous to get off the side of the road due to heavy traffic. It again would not start and we had to have it towed home. Once it came off the tow truck, it started up. Something about it getting towed makes it start again, maybe the angle that it is in when it is getting pulled up on to the tow truck does something. Iâve been nervous to drive it for fear it will break down on me again. We have tried to start it again to take it to a service shop but it will not start. There were no warning lights before either incident. The first shop we had it towed to informed us after we dropped it off that the car was too new for them to run for codes, so they were unable to tell us the issues.
