Owner Narrative
Vehicles dash board is melting. Produces a high shine effect that reflects sunlight into the front glass, effectively blinding the driver. Toyota has acknowledged this in a âwarranty enhancement programâ but will no longer repair the dashboard as the recall has âexpiredâ. The warranty program had expired prior to me taking ownership of the vehicle. Engine burns oil due to piston assembly manufacturing errors. Toyota has acknowledged this in T-SB-0158-14 but will no longer repair the engine as the recall has âexpiredâ. The recall had expired prior to me taking ownership of the vehicle.
