TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2000 CHEVROLET IMPALA. THE CONTACT STATED THAT AFTER PARKING THE VEHICLE, SMOKE WAS PRESENT COMING FROM UNDER THE HOOD. THE HOOD WAS OPENED AND FLAMES WERE PRESENT COMING FROM THE ENGINE MANIFOLD AND HEAD GASKET. WATER WAS USED TO EXTINGUISH THE FLAMES. THE FIRE DEPARTMENT WAS NOT CALLED TO THE SCENE. THE CAUSE OF THE FAILURE WAS NOT DETERMINED. THE LOCAL DEALER AND MANUFACTURER WERE NOT CONTACTED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 123,986. THE VIN WAS INVALID.
