TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2000 CHEVROLET IMPALA. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE CHECK ENGINE WARNING INDICATOR ILLUMINATED. THE VEHICLE WAS SERVICED PER NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 09V116000 (ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING) BY PUENTE HILLS CHEVROLET (17300 GALE AVE, INDUSTRY, CA 91748, (626) 709-4230). THE CONTACT MENTIONED THAT THE CHECK ENGINE WARNING INDICATOR ILLUMINATED AFTER THE RECALL REPAIR AND THE VEHICLE ALMOST CAUGHT FIRE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 195,795.
