Owner Narrative
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A SET OF YOKOHANA LT TIRES, SIZE: 265 75R 16 (N/A). THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING 65 MPH THE FRONT PASSENGER SIDE TIRE EXPLODED, CAUSING DAMAGE TO THE HOOD AND FENDER. SEVERAL WEEKS LATER THE REAR PASSENGER SIDE IRE EXPLODED, ALSO CAUSING EXTENSIVE DAMAGE TO THE REAR OF THE VEHICLE. THE TIRES WERE ONLY 3 MONTHS OLD WHEN THE FAILURE OCCURRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE ISSUE AND STATED THAT THEY WOULD SEND SOMEONE TO FURTHER INVESTIGATE THE TIRES. THE VEIHCLE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS UNAVAILABLE. THE TIRE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 10,000.THE VIN WAS NOT AVAILABLE.
