VEHICLE SPEED CONTROL
Owner Narrative
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2010 CHEVROLET EXPRESS. THE CONTACT STATED WHILE DRIVING 15 MPH THE ABS AND STABILITRAC WARNING LAMPS ILLUMINATED. THE CONTACT MENTIONED THAT THE FAILURE OCCURRED TWICE AND THE VEHICLE STALLED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO A LOCAL MECHANIC WHO DIAGNOSED THAT THE RIGHT REAR WIRING HARNESS WAS DEFECTIVE AND NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE REMEDY FAILED TO REPAIR THE PROBLEM. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN BACK TO THE LOCAL MECHANIC WHO DIAGNOSED THAT THE THROTTLE SENSOR WAS DEFECTIVE AND NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE AND OFFERED NO ASSISTANCE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 39,000 AND THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 48,000.
