TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2001 CHRYSLER TOWN AND COUNTRY. THE CONTACT STATED THE FACTORY INSTALLED TAPE DECK/CD COMPONENT WOULD NOT OPERATE IN THE PLAY MODE NOR EJECT PROPERLY. IN ADDITION, THE AIR CONDITIONER FAILED TO FUNCTION WHEN ACTIVATED AND THE FAULTY AIR CONDITIONER CONDENSER WAS REPLACED TWICE. BOTH POWER SLIDING DOORS LOCKS ALSO FAILED TO FUNCTION WHICH RESULTED TO THE REPLACEMENT OF THE MOTOR. THE PREVIOUS REPAIRS ON THE VEHICLE WHERE PERFORMED BY AN AUTHORIZED DEALER ON SEPARATE OCCASIONS. RECENTLY, THE CONTACT DISCOVERED TWO RECALLS ASSOCIATED WITH THE PRIOR DEFECTS UNDER NHTSA CAMPAIGN ID NUMBERS: 01I003000 (LATCHES/LOCKS/LINKAGES: DOORS: LATCH) AND 04V531000 (EQUIPMENT: ELECTRICAL: RADIO/TAPE DECK/CD ETC.). THE VIN WAS NOT INCLUDED IN EITHER RECALL CAMPAIGN. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE PROBLEM. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 75,000.
