Owner Narrative
TL * THE CONTACT OWNS A 2006 GMC SIERRA. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE BRAKES MALFUNCTIONED WHILE ATTEMPTING TO STOP WITH THE ILLUMINATION OF THE CHECK BRAKE SYSTEM WARNING LIGHT. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER WHO DIAGNOSED THAT THE BRAKE LINE WAS LEAKING DUE TO CORROSION AND AS A RESULT, THE BRAKE LINES WOULD NEED TO BE REPLACED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE WHO DID NOT OFFER ANY ASSISTANCE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE AND CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 69,000.
