TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 CHEVEROLET EXPRESS. THE CONTACT WAS DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 45 MPH DOWN A STEEP GRADE ON A MOUNTAINOUS ROAD. WHEN THE BRAKE PEDAL WAS DEPRESSED, THE ABS WARNING INDICATOR ILLUMINATED AND THE VEHICLE BEGAN TO SHAKE VIOLENTLY. THE ABS LIGHT REMAINED ILLUMINATED UNTIL THE ENGINE WAS TURNED OFF. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED FOR THE FAILURE AND THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE DEFECT. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 3,000.
