Owner Narrative

TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2006 GMC SIERRA. THE CONTACT STATED THE FUEL GAUGE MALFUNCTIONED AND HE WAS UNABLE TO READ THE AMOUNT OF FUEL THAT WAS IN THE VEHICLE. THE DEALER STATED THAT THE READER INSIDE THE FUEL TANK NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE CONTACT DID NOT REPLACE THE READER ALTHOUGH THE VEHICLE COULD SHUT OFF WHEN THE FUEL TANK WAS EMPTY WITHOUT ANY WARNING. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 110,000.
