Owner Narrative
2004 DODGE SPRINTER - THE BRAKING SYSTEM STIFFENS UP (POWER BRAKE) IF I PUSH THE PEDAL HARD ESPECIALLY WHEN I BACK UP THE VEHICLE. IT'S LIKE THE BOOSTER HAS FROZEN SOLID AND THE BRAKE PEDAL CAN'T TRAVEL ALL THE WAY DOWN. IF I LET THE VEHICLE SIT FOR A WHILE (1 HR) IT WILL GET BACK TO NORMAL. THIS IS A REPEAT INCIDENT AND STARTED IN THE FIRST YEAR BUT I DID NOT PAY TOO MUCH ATTENTION SINCE I DID NOT UNDERSTAND WHAT HAPPENED AND THE PROBLEM DISAPPEARED FOR A WHILE. BUT LATELY IS REAPPEARING MORE FREQUENTLY. NO ACCIDENT YET. NOTHING HAS BEEN DONE TO CORRECT THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE IS OUT OF WARRANTY BY NOW 66,000 MILES. I WONDER IF THERE ARE MORE PEOPLE EXPERIENCING THE SAME. *TR
