TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2001 DODGE RAM. THE CONTACT RECEIVED A RECALL NOTICE FOR NHTSA CAMPAIGN ID NUMBER 07V555000 (POWER TRAIN:AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION:LEVER AND LINKAGE:COLUMN SHIFT) AND IMMEDIATELY CALLED THE DEALER. A TECHNICIAN STATED THAT HE WOULD HAVE TO PAY A DIAGNOSTIC FEE PRIOR TO THE REPAIR AND THE PARTS WERE UNAVAILABLE. THE VEHICLE HAS NOT BEEN REPAIRED. THE FAILURE AND CURRENT MILEAGES WERE 90,000.
