ELECTRICAL SYSTEM: INSTRUMENT CLUSTER/PANEL
Owner Narrative
TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2006 CHEVROLET UPLANDER. WHILE DRIVING BETWEEN 30-40 MPH, THE REAR SLIDING DOORS OPENED AUTOMATICALLY. THE CONTACT PULLED OFF THE ROAD AND ON STAR CONNECTED HER TO A DEALER. THE DEALER INSTRUCTED HER TO BRING IN THE VEHICLE FOR SERVICE IMMEDIATELY. ONCE AT THE DEALER, THEY COULD NOT IDENTIFY ANY FAILURES WITH THE VEHICLE. THE FAILURE HAS OCCURRED ON THREE SEPARATE OCCASIONS (NOVEMBER OF 2007, DECEMBER OF 2007, AND ON APRIL 28, 2008). THE DEALER WAS NOTIFIED AFTER EACH FAILURE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS ALSO NOTIFIED AND TOOK A COMPLAINT FROM THE CONTACT. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 30,037. UPDATED 07/15/08. *LJ THE INTERIOR LIGHTS WOULD FLICKERED WHILE DRIVING. HOWEVER, IT WAS ONLY NOTICEABLE AT NIGHT. THE ABS AND TRACTION CONTROL LIGHTS ILLUMINATED/ UPDATED 07/15/08
