TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 1998 CADILLAC DEVILLE. IN SEPTEMBER OF 2003, THE AIR BAGS DEPLOYED WITHOUT AN IMPACT WHILE DRIVING 35 MPH. THERE WERE OCCUPANTS IN THE VEHICLE AT THE TIME OF THE FAILURE. GM REPAIRED THE VEHICLE; HOWEVER, THE AIR BAGS CONTINUED TO DEPLOY FOR NO APPARENT REASON. THERE WAS ONE INJURY. THE PURCHASE DATE WAS UNKNOWN. THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 177,040 AND FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 73,000.
