DT*: THE CONTACT STATED WHILE DRIVING VARIOUS SPEEDS IN RAINY WEATHER, THE WINDSHIELD WASHER/WIPERS INTERMITTENTLY FAILED TO WORK WITHOUT WARNING. THE VEHICLE WAS INSPECTED BY A DEALER WHO WAS UNABLE TO DUPLICATE THE PROBLEM. THE MANUFACTURER WAS ALERTED. THE VEHICLE WAS A 2006 WESTERN STAR, MODEL 49OOEX TRACTOR TRAILER. *AK UPDATED 1/19/2007 - ON DEC 21, 2006 THE DEALER RECEIVED APPROVAL FROM THE FACTORY AREA REP TO MAKE REPAIR AFTER THE REP WAS TOLD OF THE REPORT AND ONE TO THE FEDERAL TRADE COMMISSION. *NM
