Complaint Summary
SERVICE BRAKES, HYDRAULIC
Owner Narrative
HAVE HAD THE VEHICLE SINCE LATE 2001 WITHIN 5 MONTHS HAD TO BE TAKEN IN FOR BRAKE PROBLEMS DUE TO VIBRATION WHEN STOPPING. SINCE THEN THE VAN HAS HAD THE ROTORS REPLACED ONCE A YEAR WITH THEM BEING TURNED TWICE. BRAKE PADS ARE NEEDING TO BE REPLACED EVERY 5 TO 6 MONTHS. I HAVE CALLED FORD EACH TIME AS WELL AS THE DEALER. BOTH HAVE SAID THAT THIS IS A COMMON PROBLEM THEY HAVE WITH THESE VEHICLES. I DON'T PULL ANYTHING WITH MY VAN AND I AM NOT HARD ON THE BRAKES. THEY TOLD ME IT WAS BECAUSE THE FRONT END IS HEAVY. *JB
