Complaint Summary

ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING:ENGINE:OTHER FUEL TYPES:TURBO/SUPERCHARGER

Owner Narrative

I OWN A 2005 F350 POWER STROKE DIESEL PICKUP AND HAVE BEEN THROUGHLY DISCOURAGED BY FORD LACK OF ADMISSION TO THE ENGINE PROBLEMS. I HAVE NOT BEEN INVOLVED IN AN ACCIDENT, HOWEVER, I FEEL THAT THE CONSUMER NEEDS TO KNOW THE PROBLEMS WITH THE 6.0 LITRE POWERSTROKE. I HAVE HEARD MANY STORIES OF CONSUMER PROBLEMS AND YET FORD DENIES THE PROBLEMS. I THINK THAT FORD IS TRYING TO MAKE A "SILENT RECALL" BECAUSE A FULL RECALL WILL HURT THEM FINANCIALLY. PLEASE INVESTIGATE AS TO THE PROBLEMS WITH THIS ENGINE.*AK
