Owner Narrative
CONSUMER HAS HAD MULTIPLE SCARES OF ACCIDENTS PERTAINING TO ANTILOCK BRAKES. IN NOVEMBER OF 2000 CONSUMER TRIED TO APPLY BRAKES, AND ALMOST HIT ANOTHER VEHICLE. NO BRAKES WHEN APPLIED. DRUMS/PADS & SHOES HAVE BEEN CHANGED, BUT NO REAL REMEDY. CONSUMERS MECHANIC TOOK A LOOK, AND BACK BRAKES RELEASED. THERE WAS NO CONTROL OVER VEHICLE. FORD WASN'T ASSISTING AT ALL WITH PROBLEM. THEY FEEL THAT CONSUMER WAS DOING SOMETHING FOR BRAKES TO WEAR.*AK
