Owner Narrative
The contact owns a 2019 Jeep Grand Cherokee. The contact stated after the dealer had performed the recall repair under NHTSA Campaign Number: 24V838000 (Service Brakes, Hydraulic); the brakes started making an abnormal squealing sound while driving the same day, and it felt like a part underneath the vehicle was separating. There was no warning light illuminated. The dealer and the manufacturer were not notified of the failure. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 68,408.
