The contact owns a 2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee. The contact stated that while driving at various speeds, there was an abnormal sound coming from the front-end of the vehicle, with the sound more significant on the driver's side. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, where the contact was informed that the failure could not be duplicated; however, the contact verified that the odometer reading remained the same as when the vehicle was dropped off. The contact believed that the vehicle was not test-driven. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The contact related the failure to NHTSA Campaign Number: 23V352000 (STEERING); however, the VIN was not included. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure.
