Owner Narrative
The contact owns a 2024 Cadillac Escalade ESV. The contact stated that while attempting to start the vehicle, there was an abnormal ticking sound coming from the engine. The vehicle was taken to the dealer where it was diagnosed and determined that the engine needed to replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The VIN was not included in NHTSA Campaign Number: 25V274000 (ENGINE and ENGINE COOLING). The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 20,000.
