Owner Narrative
The contact owns a 2023 Freedom TA3G trailer. The contact stated the trailer was custom-made, and the size specification was 8.5' x 34'. Upon delivery, the contact discovered extensive manufacturing defects on the trailer, including dimensional errors and critical safety hazards. The contact stated that the trailer's length and width dimensions did not match the ordered specifications, and the axle size was less than the required 8.5-ft. width specification. Additionally, the inaccurate structural measurements on the box frame had rendered the trailer entirely inoperable. Furthermore, only one of the four trailer brakes was properly connected, with the remaining brake wires completely disconnected and hanging off the assembly. The interior lighting system was non-functional; the assembly screws were actively backing out and falling off the interior panel walls, ceiling, and flooring sheets, both inside and outside the trailer. The trailer body exhibited severe pre-existing rust and metal oxidation despite being sold as a brand-new vehicle. The dealer was notified of the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 0.
