Owner Narrative
The contact owns a 2018 Ram 2500. The contact received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number 24V896000 (Service Brakes, Hydraulic); however, the part to do the recall repair was not yet available. The local dealer was contacted. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The manufacturer was made aware of the issue. The approximate failure mileage was 35,000. The contact stated the vehicle was taken to the dealer for warning lights constantly warn with an audible alert antilock brake, cruise control, traction control. The vehicle was diagnosed and repaired; however, the issue persisted. Prior to receiving a recall notice. the recall notice for NHTSA Campaign Number 24V896000 (Service Brakes, Hydraulic) was received after the repairs.
