Complaint Summary
STEERING
Owner Narrative
On the morning of May 26, 2026, I was driving at 30 MPH on a neighborhood road. After a few miles, and while approaching a green to caution traffic light. I applied the brake and felt a definite tug in the steering wheel and immediately, completely lost power steering. While at the red traffic light and a full stop, I placed the truck in park stopped and restarted the engine, and the power steering was restored. It happened again within a half mile again while applying the brake. Although difficult to steer at 25 MPH, it is incredibly difficult to turn the wheel when at a full stop. However, by stopping and restarting the engine it enabled me to navigate typical parking maneuvers for a short time.
