ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING
Owner Narrative
The contact owns a 2021 Chevrolet Tahoe. The contact stated that while driving 65 MPH, there was an abnormal vibration coming from the engine compartment and felt in the steering wheel. The check oil warning light illuminated. The vehicle was taken to the residence and then to the dealer, where it was determined that the vehicle was functioning properly, and there was no oil leak; however, the oil level was low even though an oil change was not yet due. The dealer added oil to the vehicle, and an oil consumption test was ordered. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and a complaint was filed. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 48,000.
