Owner Narrative
The contact owns a 2017 Ram 2500. The contact stated that while operating the vehicle, the ABS and traction control warning lights remained illuminated. The message that the 4WD was unavailable was displayed. The cause of the failures was not yet determined. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and informed the contact that the VIN was not included in NHTSA Campaign Number: 24V896000 (SERVICE BRAKES, HYDRAULIC). The contact stated that the vehicle had experienced the failure listed in the recall. The local dealer was not contacted. The failure mileage was 60,000.
