Owner Narrative
I have had ongoing issues with the backup camera not related to current recall 25v-552. The image on the dash screen would flip between upside down and right side up. It still the flipped image after being âfixedâ. After the dealership âfixedâ that problem, it would flip and reverse the image. That was subsequently âfixedâ by replacing the dash monitor. However, the poor picture quality during both day and night makes the camera unsafe to use. During the day the image may be completely or partially whited out with glare. At night there are lines and distortion across the screen. In. Addition, the new unit does not monitor van diagnostic information which could impact safety. The van is currently back in shop for another attempt to fix camera system.
