Owner Narrative
The contact owns a 2020 Ford Edge. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed, the cruise control system unexpectedly disengaged. The vehicle was taken to a dealer, and a sensor failure was diagnosed. The sensor was replaced; however, the failure persisted. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and advised the contact that a temporary fix was to turn the cruise control system off and then back on. The approximate failure mileage was 95,000.
