ELECTRICAL SYSTEM: INTEGRATED TRAILER BRAKE CONTROL
Owner Narrative
The contact owns a 2019 Ram 2500. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed and hauling a trailer, the trailer brake light was continuously flickering and shut off, and the warning message trailer not connected was erroneously displayed. The vehicle was turned off and restarted several times to correct the failure. The cause of the failure was not yet determined. The manufacturer was notified of the failure, but no assistance was provided. The failure mileage was 38,000.
