Owner Narrative
The contact owns a 2021 Chevrolet Tahoe. The contact stated that while at a red light, the accelerator pedal was depressed; however, the vehicle stalled. The check engine warning light was illuminated. The contact researched and was made aware of an unknown NHTSA recall; however, the VIN was not under recall. The vehicle was towed to an independent mechanic, where it was diagnosed, and determined that the fuel pump control module needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 62,000.
