ELECTRICAL SYSTEM:12V/24V/48V BATTERY

Owner Narrative

The contact owns a 2024 Alliance Valor RV. The contact stated that the lithium 12-Volt battery failed to charge, and the battery warning light was flashing. The error codes 01 and 08 were displayed indicating a temperature overload. Upon inspection, the contact discovered that the 12-Volt Lithium battery was wrapped in the tank heater pad that was smoldering. The contact removed the heater pad. The cause of the failure was not yet determined. The manufacturer and local dealer were not yet contacted. The failure mileage was 8,000.
