Owner Narrative

The contact owns a 2019 Ford Flex. The contact received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 24V951000 (Back Over Prevention). The contact stated that prior to receiving the recall letter, the contact experienced back over prevention camera failure. The contact also received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 25V732000 (Structure). Before receiving the recall letter, the driver's side B-pillar cracked in half. The local dealer was notified of the failures several times and informed the contact that parts were not available for the recall repairs. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repairs. The manufacturer was not informed of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 35,500.
