BACK OVER PREVENTION

The contact owns a 2019 Ford Flex. The contact stated that the back-over prevention camera was inoperable approximately 30 percent of the time. No warning lights were illuminated. The contact received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 25V695000 (Back Over Prevention) and 25V732000 (Structure). The local dealer was contacted and confirmed that parts were on backorder. Another unknown local dealer was contacted, but the vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was contacted, but no assistance was provided. The failure mileage was approximately 25,000.
