Owner Narrative
I was driving at night on a dark road My truck showed â Brake assist failure. Press hard to brake. Speed limited.â I tried to step on the brakes & the truck didnât stop. I was able to eventually turn the truck off & when I restarted it was fine. Luckily it wasnât a busy street or that I didnât have my 3 kids with me because it couldâve ended differently. I set an appointment at my dealership & when I went to start my truck again 1. It was dead and 2 when I jumped it, that same message popped up again & my truck was towed to the dealership on 2.25 & I havenât heard back from the dealership since with an update.
