Two times in the past month my gas pedal has gotten stuck after I fully engaged it getting on the highway. Both times I had to hit the brakes and kick at the gas pedal a few times for it to disengage. This problem doesnât always happen, as Iâve tried to do it on purpose to see if it would do it again. Not sure it it could possibly have anything to do with snow/ice or salt accumulation on outside of vehicle, as it is winter time In Massachusetts. This could have led to a bad accident injuring both myself and others, luckily I managed to break the gas pedal free both times. The problem happened two separate times. I have not brought it up to the dealer but will soon on my next service appointment. Vehicle and component hasnât been inspected for this problem yet. There were no warning lamps, messages or symptoms. They first appeared about a month ago (mid January 2026), and happened again first week of February 2026
