Owner Narrative

The contact owns a 2015 Chrysler 200. The contact stated that after the vehicle was started and shifted to park(P), the vehicle unexpectedly shifted into neutral(N), and the air bag warning light illuminated. The contact attempted to shift the gear selector into reverse; however, the vehicle remained in neutral. The contact stated that the vehicle could not be turned off. The contact disconnected the battery to turn off the vehicle. The dealer was contacted; however, the vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 138,000.
