Complaint Summary
ELECTRICAL SYSTEM
Owner Narrative
The vehicleâs touchscreen activates functions on its own without being touched (âghost touchâ). While driving, the screen intermittently selects menus, changes settings, and activates features without driver input. This causes distraction and requires the driver to look away from the road to correct unintended changes. The issue occurs unpredictably and repeatedly, while in motion and standing still, indicating a malfunction of the touchscreen or related electronic system and presents a safety concern due to driver distraction.
Owner-submitted narrative on file with NHTSA. Complaint narratives are self-reported and have not been verified.
