Owner Narrative
The contact owns a 2014 Ford F-350 with a trailer hitched to the vehicle. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed, the driverâs side rear wheel locked up, and the trailer started fishtailing. The contact stated that the vehicle was shifted manually into second gear but failed to accelerate above 15 MPH. The vehicle was towed to a dealer where it was diagnosed and determined the transmission needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 116,000.
