Owner Narrative
The contact owns a 2017 Ford F-250. The contact stated while driving 15 MPH, the vehicle almost stalled. There were no warning lights illuminated. The contact's vehicle stopped in traffic and then failed to respond. The contact attempted to restart the vehicle and the message âLow Engine Power Pressureâ was displayed. The vehicle was then towed to an independent mechanic who diagnosed the vehicle with catastrophic fuel system failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The dealer was made aware of the failure. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and referred the contact to the NHTSA Hotline for assistance. The failure mileage was approximately 61,000.
